Pond Update 4-27-10

Not a huge difference, but I bought two little ferns. One is a regular fern, it is kinda in the middle. The other is a Japanese Painted Fern, it is up next to the lip of the pond on the right. And I moved one we have had for the past few years. It is an Asparagus Fern, it is the bigger one on the left side of the pond. I also build up the rocks around the border to help hold in the dirt.

The Three Fish Peter gave me for my B-day

My four little bitty ones are in there somewhere. Bethany named them all three. The one in the middle with the long tail is a girl named Bella! I bet you can guess the others......Jacob and Edward. One of my little ones is white, Karston named it Jason!! I guess thats a hit at how WHITE I am!

Got my pond today for my B-day

Still have plenty of work to do. I just wanted to get the bottom level in the ground and set up tonight. I am planning on running dirt up to the lip of the pond and planting some stuff. The rocks are temporary. I went and bought me a pump and filter after Bethany gave me the pond.

Until Last year I didn't even know this vine bloomed. I had never saw it bloom at my grandma's house. I wanted it just because it takes over ugly spots and covers the ground!
